I was a first-year corp member of Teach for America and became an elementary school teacher in Compton, California for 12 years prior to moving back to my home country Thailand and became a Thai language and culture teacher and Primary Thai Coordinator for a few years before becoming a Thai Headmistress-Director for 8 years at Bangkok Patana School, a British International school in Bangkok and I am now a School Director at St Andrews International School Bangkok, a Nord Anglia School teaching a British International curriculum. My role is overseeing a Thai language and culture programme which includes three Thai courses of instruction: Thai First language focusing on teaching language and literature, Thai language for communication and Thai as a foreign language, and organising Thai cultural activities for the school.
